Anyone else think Brett Gardner is a legit superstar in the making?

I think he is the next great Yankee center fielder.

He is batting 345 right now and has OBP north of 415. With his speed, that is outstanding. cause havok on the base paths. 10/11 stealing. All while playing stellar defense. And he has proven to be very clutch last season imo.

    Really like this guy.

Brett Gardner's mom doesn't even think he's a superstar in the making

For a guy that's never even put up superstar numbers in the minors, definitely not. Could be solid though.

I sure as hell would like him leading off on my team. I think he is a very good player in the making, probably not a superstar.

LMFAO at this thread! Brett Gardner will be as big a superstar as Shane Spencer!

I don't think "Superstar" is a term that should just be thrown around. Can he be a solid everyday player ? Yes ! Will his broad range of skills help the Yankees win games ? Yes Again. But to think hes the next "Great Yankee Center-fielder" may be a bit strong. If I were a Yankee fan (Thank God I'm Not) I'd be more impressed with what Robinson Cano is doing.

Well, you do have Kotsay doing his best job there!

Has the making of a very solid player. Doubt he'll ever reach superstar status though.
