    Game 1 v. Det.

Gonna need some breaks tonight, and gotta play loose, which won't be easy. Detroit will likely be smooth and fine tuned coming right off their game 7 blowout--they don't seem like the let down type. SJ will likely need at least 10 minutes, or two shifts for everyone to even begin to shake off the cob webs. Remember even a small lack of sharpness will show up big for anyone this time of year. This goes double for the blue line. We will be very fortunate to get 6 minutes into the first period with out being 4 on 5.

    SKATE GUYS, SKATE!

Good win, missed the game, but heatly scored. Can anyone tell me if he is playing better (skating wise) ?

He looked ok. He made a few mistakes but made up for them with some plays.

If we can just get consistent play from the combination of Marleau, Thronton and Heatley, the Sharks would be unstoppable.
