Ok.. It has begun.. Im on week 3. Im going to use this thread to give updates on my progress, and hopefully recieve advice/ feedback/ support from all of you guys.
So to start, let me give you a quick background.
Since 17, I have been religous in the gym. 5 days a week. I started out very scrawny. I made myself eat, every 2 hours, regardless. I used to set my alarm at night to wake up to drink a protein shake. It worked, and i put on some quality muscle max.
fast forward to last year, march/april
Im at my peak. Im 215 pounds, and my max bench is an all time high of 405 pounds. (free weights, totally unassisted, full ROM) To give you an idea of how strong i was, this is what i would do on flat bench. (my strongest muscle was chest, but i was pretty well rounded)
135 x 25, 225 x 20, 275 x 10, 315 x 6, 365 x 2.
I could do dips 6-8 reps with a 240 pound person sitting on the maching. (PIT SHARK) google pit shark to see what im talking about.
I would do military presses pyramding up to 245 pounds. I would warm up with 135 xx 20 reps...
That was then...
I had some problems with work schedule, I went to nights, started to work somewhere else, longer commute, kids, etc, etc. etc.
1st. problem- I stopped working out.
2nd problem- My diet went to hell, and i had trained myself to eat every 2 hours, and i continued that.
End result- 1 year later, now, im a weakling... I have begun my resurgance....
