damn this is hurting the knicks. the wait and see till FA method doesnt always work. just ask the lakers when they wanted to get YAO or Amare.

kind of surprised, but good for phoenix to keep him there. not so good news for new york though, just lost one potential fa.

well just an example of how cap space can help us out...we could get collison from NO by absorbing peja's contract or get iggy from philly and give them cap relief

cap room isnt ALL about FAs its about FLEXIBILITY

plz explain to me how miami can afford 3 max if not almost max contract when they have like what? 30mil even when they trade beasley?

Care to re-think this? The Heat can afford 3 max contracts and another 2 million. Assuming Boozer will get 10-13 mill a year, the Heat can sign those 2, get 3 rookies, bring back rio and anthony have 4+ million + all the min deals you can eat .

That said, really don't want Boozer...

Really wanted Amare, so we'll see. Maybe we'll deal for Iggy and sign felton and a decent center.

I know the Heats cap space and in theory they could do it, but why do it to ruin their ability to get any sort of depth?

I don't know why knick fans should be worried lol, we have cap space for the first time in over a decade and are gonna be players in both free agent summers ahead. We're gonna be nice regardless, and one of these big names is not gonna pass on getting the keys to THE city.
