lived in south carolina my whole life but all my family is from maine so i was just born being a sox fan, have to listen to games on internet because all you get down here in the south is the freakin braves.

Hey guys whats up, i've been postin in here for awhile, and i've never actually come in here and introduced myself to fellow Dirt Doggs.
I'm from the Springfield,MA area and have been a Red Sox fan all my life but really following them since approx. 1992-93 or so maybe about 12 years or so, when i was like 9 and 10 i liked them but i didn't know baseball the way i do now. I started my Red Sox religion with guys like Boggs, Clemens, Tony Pena, Tim Naehring, Mo, Valentin, Greenwell etc.. Then during the days of Rich Garces, Tim Wakefield, Haselman, Stanley, Wil Cordero, Darren Bragg, O'Leary and Tinsley, thats when i started loving baseball. So now at age 25 i'm a diehard fan. My favorite player is Tek and Papelbon, i got a ton of respect for my fellow BoSox fans, you guys are the best fans in the world, for any club, in any sport, period. have been reading these threads here and there for a couple months. finally joined today. born and raised in wisconsin. my family moved here from Springfield, Mass before is was born and was raised a sox fan. and i must say that sox fans as a whole are far more intelligent than most fans around. but the reason i actually joined today was because i got sick of what packer fans were saying on PSD made the rest of packer fans sound retarded.
