Nice to see Hunt getting back into form. Hopefully his psychological problems are solved.

how did hicks make the mwl asg?
twins sign 9th round pick knudson, and some 44th rounder who i forgot the name of (not like that name is very important)
Knudson got sent down to e-town and 44 got sent to the GCL
Thje 44th rounder was a pitcher from St. Cloud St. He looks like he might have pretty good stuff.
I'll be going to see the Snappers play the Cedar Rapids Kernels next Wednesday. I'll post my thoughts on the game.

Agreed. Trout is the real deal.
Any Sano updates, also where can i go to see how he's doin, the sites i usually go to dont have his stats
Go to the Twins official site, go to Minor League Affiliates/Clubs, and once that page opens, go down to the DSL section. Should be the last club on there in descending order from Rochester to the Dominican Summer League.
Sano is batting .314/.405/.600 that is an OPS over 1.![]()
I hope the batting against lefties continues. He looks like he does well against them, with a very small sample size sofar.
We saw the Snappers beat the Kernels 11-2 this afternoon. Anderson Hidalgo hit a ball in the 2nd inning that I thought would be a routine fly to deep right, but it carried over the fence. Danny Rams hit a ball that probably landed in the yard across the street from the ballpark a bit later in the game. Michael Gonzales flicked his wrists and hit a ball 390 feet to the base of the wall. Why anyone throws him a fastball in the strikezone, I have no idea. He is huge (6'6", 280) and very strong. He isn't bad around first, either. Aaron Hicks has very good strike-zone judgement, taking several walks today on close pitches. The balls he hit were pretty well-hit, too. He threw a ball from the warning track, about 400' from home plate to 2nd in the air. Wang-Wei Lin is very fast and has a decent arm in right. He made a catch on a ball in foul territory that was very impressive.
Brad Stillings threw a fastball that topped out about 91 MPH and was consistantly about 89. It seems to move a bit down and away from righties. His breaking stuff is OK, but his command is not what it will be. He allowed a run on 3 hits and 4 walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out 3.
Overall, I was happy with the game, but the pitchers need to work on throwing strikes to the hitters and let the defense do their jobs.
