    Another stupid thing that people say is "are you using that bench". LOL I'm like 10 feet away from the bench and people ask me if i'm using it

    nice! 3 plates is no joke and 30 pounds year is solid progress. I'm hoping to add 40 pounds to mine this year to get to 275

    I can comfortably do 275 without a spotter now for at least 1 rep which is nice

    Getting back to the topic of stupid things people say.... When someone asks you what is your max bench, then after you tell them, they proceed to say "Oh my friend can bench xxx" (trying to imply his friend is bigger/stronger than you)
