I actually just watched The Crow a bit over the weekend. Solid movie IIRC. Haven't seen it in it's entirety since I was like 15.

when i watch those films, i forget i'm watching fiction. those three roles literally made me think i was watching the real people.

Some of you posted some other good ones. I saw someone say Jack Nicholson in "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest." Another great performance. Also forgot Marlon Brando in "A Streetcar Named Desire." I also loved Tim Robbins in "The Shawshank Redemption." Some great performances.

I remember watching Ragin Bull for the 1st time not too long ago and thinking that was one of the best performances I'd ever seen.

Jared Leto in Requeim for a Dream (hell everyone in that movie... including Marlon Wayans was amazing)

Chritain Bale in the Machinist was pretty damn impressive too.

I ****ing loved The Machinist. He deserves to be on here for the sole purpose of weighing 100 pounds for the role.

Also, Ellen Burstyn was amazing in Requiem For a Dream.
