I had the 8th pick in an 8 team league. I went a bit overboard with sleepers, but it's what I do.

Cabrera being your SS in a 8 team league is a massive, massive weak spot for you. I actually don't like 70% of you Offensive side.

Your pitching is stout but your offense leaves a lot to be desired for an 8 team league.

So I can start McGehee at 2B and Zobrist at SS.

McGehee hit 15 bombs in less than 400 AB, and Cabrera could potentially steal 70 bags. My team has no speed outside of Bourn, Cabrera, and Fowler, so I had to give a little there.

    It's a very balanced roster.

Yeah in an 8 team league you shouldnt have Everth. I really really wanted him, he is still available to be honest but Orlando Cabrera was available in the second to last round so I took him instead.

And thats in a 12 team league. Plus playing in Petco will really bring down his numbers.

He played in Petco last year and showed good OBP skills. People in the Pads board think he'll swipe 70 this year, and they'll have nothing to play for so why not? SB are traditionally my achilles heel anyway.

And O-Cab is absolutely terrible. I can't fathom drafting him for any reason.

And like I said, if Everth plays poorly, I can use McGehee (very good power) at 2B and shift Zobrist to SS.

I am really high on Mcgehee this year. He should be a starter all season and he will be awesome. Overall a solid team. Offense could be better. Pitching is good. I would drop Strasburg. He wont be up for a while and he may not even be all that effective if he makes it up.

How would the offense be better? I have equal amounts of good batting average, steals, and HR. RBI will come, and are unpredictable anyway.

You have great pitching, and good power. But I dont think the team will hit for much average.

I've been afraid to take Lind. Last year was his only goo year and i'm still not sold on him.

He's young and his minor league record makes it look legit.

And I think the average will be fine....Kubel, Zobrist, and Longoria will help there.

Hitting wins you leagues, pitching should be traded for some hitting.

Cabrera will not get 70.....not even close. Try 30-35 max. I don't even think McGehee will last a full year.

In H2H O-Cab is probably the 6th or 7th best SS.

If we are talking Roto its a different story, and Everth definitely gives you steals, but I dont see him getting 70 steals though, at least not in 2010.

I would say his ceiling is around 50 SB.

Which would still be great; like I said steals are my achilles heel.

But then again, steals are only one category. A homerun hitter gives you Hits, RBIs, Total Bases, Runs, OPS, OBP, and more. A stolen base machine may only give you SBs if they are not great hitters.

This is a BA-HR-RBI-SB league. I hate those stats, but I drafted based on that.
