Yeah, I think it looks pretty good and FX could use a hit now that their most popular shows (The Shield, Nip/Tuck) are over. Plus Rescue Me is likely done in a year or two as well.

Damages is pretty damn popular though I never could get into it.

Is anyone else much more excited for this then they ever were for the premiere of Sons of Anarchy? I just have never gotten into the hype of SoA, I feel like if anythings its kinda overrated. But people seem to love Ron Pearlman and the younger guy from Green Street Hooligans...

SoA is ****ing great, I personally love it. One of my favorite shows on TV right now. Pearlman is always good, the kid is meh sometimes but overall there is some solid acting with Katey Sagal among them.
...and it also does pretty well ratings wise from what I understand.
UPDATED: FX's "Sons of Anarchy" came roaring back to record ratings Tuesday night.
The second season premiere hit a series high by a mile, growing 95% (!!!) in the adult demo compared to its first season premiere.
"Sons" was seen by 4.3 million viewers and earned a 2.8 demo rating.
That represents the largest season two premiere gain for any series in FX's history ("The Shield" returned to a 3% increase and "Nip/Tuck" had a 33% gain).More than 4.3 million viewers tuned in to Tuesday’s season finale of FX’s "Sons of Anarchy," making it the most-watched episode in the series' history.
The 10 p.m. event also topped rankings among men 18 to 49 and men 18 to 34. On Wednesday afternoon the network announced it had ordered a third season.
“The success of 'Sons of Anarchy' is very gratifying, and the show has become a bona-fide hit,” said FX President-General Manager John Landgraf said.
Production on the next 13 episodes will begin in September 2010, and all series regulars are set to return. Kurt Sutter executive-produces the drama about an outlaw motorcycle gang. Katey Sagal, Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman star.

Damages is really good, but I don't know a single person that watches it. I remember after it's first season they talked about canceling it too since it had terrible ratings.

I watch Damages. My fiancee watched all of teh first season and I found it boring. Then I actually paid a bit more attention and it's a very, very solid show. Originally Posted by DamnGoat

I just finished watching it, was very impressed. I really liked Walton Goggins (Shane from the Shield) character, he's perfectly cast for that role IMO. Originally Posted by Boston-Born
