Did anybody watch or listen to Foote's post game interview? He kept saying they have a bright future and that they will only get better when referring to the Avs. Is it just me or does he seem like he's retiring?

Footer will retire IMO. He can tell himself that he is really slowing down. He cant keep up with the players anymore.

Thanks for a great Career here in Colorado Adam.

Yeah, it's time for Footer to retire. Most of our D needs to be shuffled up. We need some bigger D-men.

Team Canada general manager Mark Messier continues to fill out his roster for the upcoming IIHF World Hockey Championship as he added three more players on Saturday.

New York Rangers goaltender Chad Johnson, Colorado Avalanche defenceman Kyle Cumiskey and Columbus Blue Jackets blueliner Kris Russell will all be heading to Germany in time for Canada's opening game on May 8th against Italy.
