ya! Basketball is one of the best cardio work outs you can do! A lot of fitness "experts" say that interval cardio is the most effective form of cardio to burn fat! Thats exactly what basketball is! If i were you and it was possible i would try and play full court basketball instead of half court! But either way its good way to burn calories!
This thread turned into a personal discussion between two friends apparently. lol
Cardio and definitely incorporate leg movements into your ab workout. For example, lie on your back, and raise your legs about 6-12 inches off the ground while keeping them straight, and hold that position for a minute or two --- and remember to keep your hands under your butt to keep the stress off your back. You will feel it every time. Add ankle weights for more resistance if you want. There are a few other leg involving sets that I do that also help but just search online; they all target your lower abs.
FWIW, I've read hanging leg raises are pretty solid for your lower abs.

You have to lower your overall bf%. As for exercises, do a combination of lower ab exercises (the ones that require you to move your legs)
