    Whey Protein

    What are you thoughts on it, any tips ? What will i see, i hit the gym at least 4 times a week i drink before and after my workout..

    Results will come if you do a proper workout. What is your routine?

    I also drank a protein shake after a workout, not both, but that's just me. I also ate something high in protein after a workout as well. And mix your protein shake with water, not milk.

    Whey protein isn't magic. It only helps if you do it right.

    i never do before workout but after i have Protein Shake and a Gatorade

    Whey protein is great for post workout. A good drink for post workout is simple sugars (dextrose/maltodextrin), which you can find in powder form on the internet or just eat candy (nerds are my favorites), followed by whey protein. Depending on whether I am cutting or bulking, that will effect my ratio of carbs to protein. Waxy maize is also an alternative to dextrose & maltodextrin. I also eat a small meal about an hour after that pwo shake. Pre-workout a little oatmeal does the trick for me, maybe a scoop of casein protein...nothing much though.

    Why are you saying to mix with water instead of milk?

    Basically. Milk is 80% casein protein and 20% whey. Casein digests a lot slower than the whey.

    I usually drink it, if I haven't had anything for over 2 hours before my workout. But I always drink one after.

    Right, but so what? I mean, you're still getting the whey protein (in fact you're getting more whey protein) and it's still going to digest fast. The casein will digest while you're working out.

    i drink 1 in the am and 1 after my workout which is 10 pm ( a little late but im a bz dude)

    what??? milk as a lot of nutrition including protein in it and it makes the protein shakes taste way better. i cant even get a protein shake down if its mixed with water.

    right, it will digest slower with milk, but not that much slower. not enough to really effect anything.

    I have a shake first thing in the morning, one pre-wo, and one post-wo. Can't have too much!!

    Guys what do you think about the THERMO STACK???..... im gonna buy it cuz its all herbal, and animal protein totally ****s my uric acid level.
