Not to be mean, but you were saying the same thing not too long ago about Schultz and with much more hatred... but don't worry, i wont defend Sloan, although he is a nice swing player to keep onthe end of the roster. ....

Meh honestly I still feel the same way with Schultz, honestly Sloan is a lesser version of Schultz yet he's a top 4 Dman for us?

Got to give props to Theo for a good night. 44 save performance, incredible. This team could have easily been crushed. Jose normally makes me wonder who will show up when he's in net, but on Tuesday he was lights out.

Is it me but Jose seems to always have great January's. I think I remember him bouncing back this time last year too. Either way, lets hope he sustains it for the rest of the season, or as long as it takes to get Varly back on the ice.

I looked back at his January stats from last season, and he had 10 starts with a .919 SV%. 5 of those starts he gave up three or more goals. It just seems like sometimes he has good stretches, and then for whatever reason will face 20 shots and let in five.

But I'm with you, hopefully he does settle down and sustain some kind of consistency the rest of the way.
