if you have an hp, you can just restore settings back to factory settings, backup your files first and you're computer is like it was when it was brand new.

Wow just found this thread and started downloading everything. I have Chrome on now and Microsoft Security Essentials and the full scan had no viruses. I tried downloading Malware Bytes but it won't DL for some reason. I plan on using Chrome and have MSE running in the backgroud (and i did the hosts thing) anything else you guys reccomend? I read the entire thread but i'm not really computer savvy so i didn't understand most of it lol.
But huge thanks to the OP and every poster, very helpful. (I used to pay for Norton anti-virus, money not well spent)
Oh an before i forget, does anyone know about VuZe? It's a torrent application (i think thats the right name) and i use it quite a bit and it slows down my Chrome window unless i "end process" via the task manager. My question is, is it safe? I'm kinda worried because i sometimes use my credit card on here and my old McAffe program put a red X over the http:// part of the URL and basically said every website is a risk (i noticed it did this after i installed VuZe). I did delete McAffe after seeing this thread but i was just wondering about safety.
Sorry to ramble on but any help is greatly appreciated.
I currently have Malwarebyte, SuperAnti Spyware, Spybot -S&D, and AVG. Would they interfere with each other?
Make some regular path and need to specify in it.
