Hart Trophy Winner 2010 Skates For Habs!!!

    http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Eric-...-Mind/82/25070

Plek has been held off the score sheet 15 times, which makes his numbers even more stunning. If the MVP goes to the player who helps his team, it has to be Plekanec. Given the anemic attack we have, his numbers are mind blogging. He scores, we win...

Always glad when the B's add something to the talk. Plec has 40 points in 23 scoring games. Name someone who tops that.

Exactly. Plek has been a huge suprise after last season. I really hope we lock him up to a 3-4 year deal. Why would he want to leave, Martin is giving him all the ice time any player would want, he's playing great, and he loves/ is loved in Montreal.

Definitely didn't realize Pleks has been held scoreless in nearly half his games yet is still averaging over a point a game. The article is good but he won't come close to the Hart unless he becomes the 1st 100 Point Hab since I believe Guy LaFleur. The only part of the article which Engels uses as a strength yet in reality is a weakness is the Face Off percentage. He says Pleks' 48% face off efficiency as if it's great but it's really terrible(tied for 78th among NHL players with at least 250 face offs taken).

To anwer your question McMikel, Crosby has 43 points in 23 scoring games and Ovie has 41 points in 22 scoring games. Still though, that's some amazing company to be in.

But Ovie and Crosby get help from above...the Bettman factor.

That is amazing company... and considering he plays in Montreal, the lack of press nation wide is sad. If he were a frog... Same goes for Markov. Gonchar gets the press, but Markov makes a difference. Again, the French press...
