I did like your thread about how the pitching staff was shaping up.
-Sun TzuLet your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.
Only problem right now Nieve has given up eight HR's in something like 33 innings or so. Tak is very hittable, but hopefully he will work out the kinks before blowing more leads and games.
I like Parnell's maturity.
Still uncertain long term on Elmer. He's only had short stints of success. That's why he has bounced around.
But, I do love the way Dickey is pitching!!!

ua you're gone, but never forgotten, R.I.P.
Ya know Magoo, if you want to get me for killing Omar, I'm guilty. Wrong. Dead wrong. I was one of his biggest detractors last year and he proved me wrong. No two ways about it. Omar made me look like a fool.
But damned, as wrong as I was about Omar that's as right as I was about Dickey. I don't mind admitting when I"m wrong but I'll be damned if I'm gonna allow someone to tell me I was wrong when I wasn't.
"Gods always behave like the people who make them."
this is mostly motivated by the fact that i want to keep this thread alive, but the guy outpitched Strasburg on national TV. think about that for a second.
I like that this thread is being kept alive, and since it is, I add this new rule:
Whenever the name of Dickey is mentioned, in or out of the Church of Dickey, all posters shall drop to one knee and make the sign of the cross.
Dickey has a 137 tRA+ so far into the season.
May I please just exclaim, " What the **** ?! "
I'm a Dickey convert. Can't say I was thrilled when he was signed and less thrilled when he was called up. But he has done enough to prove me wrong.
Looking back at this thread is unbelievably entertaining. Way to go R.A. You proved us all really really wrong.
