Is Sidney Rice The Next Superstar WR?

    Pretty straightforward.

He's emerged as a fantastic option for the Vikings, and he and Harvin together have supplanted Berrian as the top options, along with Shiancoe, that Favre looks to.

    Thoughts?

Only time will tell, but if I were going to have to guess, No.

I hadn't had a chance to watch him play until yesterday and I was very, very impressed. He sure does look like a potential star WR.

Interesting. I'm wondering what your basis is.

    Miles Austin comes to mind.

Good post. I'm not saying it's a sure thing, but just wondering who else is taking notice.

I would say No...but if he has an elite QB for the rest of his career he could definately do some damage

He had a great game yesterday. Would've had a TD if it weren't for an awful call. But yeah, he has all the tools needed to become a stud WR.

He is good no doubt love to see what happens after Favre is gone though. Cause Favre targets him alot.

Props to Fly-Eagles-Fly for the Sig

Tavaris held him back the last 2 years. IMO he's a nasty red zone threat and a borderline #1 with a good QB throwing to him. The only problem is what will happen next year? Favre is running on fumes with no heir apparent on the roster.

The guy has impressed me a lot. I think he has a chance to be but he has to keep his stats up over the the course of seasons to become a superstar receiver.

I think this is a dumb thread and I'm a Vikings fan haha, Sidney Rice looks good, but who doesn't look good on our wide receiving core when Favre plays as well as he has.
