That's the last thing I want to see. All the more reason NOT to get the DVD.

From looking at the previews, I never really was interested in seeing it, but my friends dragged me along to see it in 3d IMAX and I thought it was great. I'm definitely going to see it again.

I loved the movie. So much better than the previews let on. I was skeptical when people kept saying it changed movies forever. Now I understand. It just set the mark as far as special effects.
    I'm done.

I think so as well, but I want to see how this ill look on blue ray without the 3D. Many movies special effects can easily be seeing ho fake they are on Blue Ray as opposed to the movie theater.

^ I'm pretty sure Cameron is one to perfect the 2d. He won't release anything till it is great. The 3d is so subtle as it is, I would expect the 2d to still look very good.

Same here. I really didn't think I would like it but it turned out I enjoyed it very much especially the amazing visual effects.

A lot of my friends are driving to the IMAX an hour away to see it. I'm going to have to wait though.

^ Yeah, pretty crazy. I remember I heard it's sales only dropped 3% from week one to week two... Also I read that this past Monday and Tuesday had higher incomes for the movie than the previous Monday and Tuesday... It also is yet to open in China and a few other countries.

Wasnt this movie basically a happy ending and futuristic sense of aboriginal-european interaction. I felt it was prevalent the whole movie and was supposed to make us feel bad. Otherwise I felt the movie was very good but too long

Well I broke down and took the girlfriend to check it out in 3D yesterday and it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't watch it again. I too thought it was very predictable and way too long.

The colors were amazing and the 3D effects were pretty cool but I'm not a fan of the movie and I don't think it should win any awards outside of the animation realm.
    Perfection.
