Another review for all the haters out there....
On a technical level, Avatar is a landmark in motion picture history, a film that will be remembered 70 years from now as redefining the grammar and possibilities of cinema...

Well, if the critics say so...

Seriously though, I like some of Cameron's older stuff (T2, Aliens) but have no interest whatsoever in this movie. Just doesn't appeal to me.

Must not be a sci-fi geek or a Cameron fan. He has created some of the best sci-fi flicks in the last 20 years. I will even forgive him for titianic, so I will go see it.

really? I'm a sci-fi geek who admits to liking Titanic, and in the past have generally liked James Cameron's movies, but I have absolutely no interest in this movie, at all.

Well, I did say I enjoyed some of his older movies...T2 and Aliens, T1 is alright I guess, nothing great though IMO.

Didn't realize you had to be a sci-fi geek to be excited for this movie though? I've seen and enjoyed plenty of movies in that genre before, but have very little interest in this one.

The day I let movie critics decide what I should like and what I should dislike is the day I jump in the tub with a waffle iron.

It looks terrible from the plot to the dialogue to the actors. Pass

I'm going to see it in the IMAX, because just based on the reviews and stuff this movie will not even be close to as good on DVD or blu ray. It seems like one of those movies that you HAVE TO to see in the IMAX

This movie looks horrible. I'll see it maybe if my friends go and I have nothing else to do, but otherwise, meh.
