Randy Shannon last minute recruiting come back. This class looked average until we got Henderson and Latwan Anderson.
DUKE.
I don't think we've officially gotten Henderson yet...It looks good for us, but I wouldn't get too excited just in case something unforeseen goes down.
Will Henderson start this year?
Not immediately, I'd assume.
If he comes in and shows that he's the player he's been hyped as, then he could push Franklin back to guard. All of a sudden we have a pretty damn good looking offensive line.
could see him at Right Tackle perhaps

I was thinking long term, but that's not a bad idea either...short term, he could see time at RT, and move to the left next year to give Johnson a shot at RT.

This is going to be a good season. I expect nothing less than ACC championship!
Oh i work with former O lineman, Chris Rutledge. I was shocked to see that when i got back from Africa.
HUGE Canes from Toronto, Canada here and I know its off topic but just wanted to say that I got to meet Ken Dorsey at the Toronto Argonauts yesterday and it was FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! He's like the nicest guy ever lol!! No one around here cares really so I just wanted to share with people that would appreciate it!! Thanks for letting me ramble lol!!
Haha, nice man.
I love Ken Dorsey...he was the perfect college QB.
Oh MarvePurdue coach Danny Hope raved about Marve. Hope called Marve the most talented quarterback he's ever been around, which is heady stuff considering he's worked with Drew Brees, who just won a Super Bowl. Hope gushed about Marve's jaw-dropping arm strength, accuracy and speed, but also praised his leadership, passion, presence and work ethic. The latter four attributes are more on the intangibles side of the QB equation and would certainly be things Brees is off the charts on.
I'd seen a lot of Marve when he was in high school for my recruiting book and came away expecting he would have an outstanding career. He had some flashes at Miami before things went off the tracks there.
I'm curious how far he can take Purdue. A coaching source texted me that he's predicting Marve will lead the Boilers to the Rose Bowl in the next two years. We'll see -- but that would be huge, considering Blue Ribbon has them No. 8 in the Big Ten this year. Marve certainly looks physically a lot different than the last time I saw him, which was more than two years ago. He's now at 215 pounds, which is up 20 from what he played at in his Miami days.![]()
DUKE.
Marve can go to hell.
There was a rumor that Thearon Collier asked to transfer. Anyone know anything about that?
