Just started watching this.

I get how Mitchell and Cam are related to Gloria and those people ( through Mitchell's dad ).

But what about the other people ? ( The dark haired dude and the blonde wife and the kids). How are they related to the other two families?

Claire...the blonde haired mom...is Mitchell's sister and both are the children of Jay.

Man you Archer apologists are something else. I've enjoyed that show for sure, but it's nowhere near the same ballpark in terms of comedy as Modern Family.

archer is definitely more LOL funny than MF

MF, on the other hand, is a better written and conceived show. the way the writers tie in 3 independent story arcs each episode is impressive, and most of the characters are very enjoyable/funny. it reminds me of the first 2 season of HIMYM with about 10x more "oomph" to the humor. but for all that, i still find myself laughing out loud more to archer than MF. that **** is just hilarious.
