We already lost to ISU. That's bad enough!

This season does not exist. Nope - never happened.

Let the history books show that in 2012 the University of Iowa abstained from playing football to focus solely on improvements in statewide cheese production to remove the state of Wisconsin from the United States and cede it to Canada.

I'm not mad about this loss, for some odd reason. This season is over to me, already a failure.

I can't believe I'm at this point, but I don't want Kirk Ferentz coaching this team anymore. He's led Iowa Football to some of its greatest moments and seasons, And I'll always remember that, but I want Kirk Ferentz gone from the Iowa program.

Ferentz is going nowhere unless he retires. He's got a contract from now until forever and getting rid of him would cost the University 75% of his salary. Nope - Ferentz will be at Iowa for awhile.

I don't think he's the problem though. This is the product of poorly recruited classes.

Yeah, I understand he's locked in for a long time. But for the first time ever, I wish we had a different coach.

And I agree recruiting has been poor, but that also falls on the shoulders of Ferentz..

Sure. At the end of the day the recruiting falls on his shoulders. I guess I was more talking about the on-field coaching there.

Ferentz needs to go. It won't happen, and maybe we are in a transition period, but the last 3 seasons have been very frustrating, I see no reason why the next few won't be as well looking at rivals and seeing what we are bringing in.

On a good note, our basketball team may be relevant again shortly.

Peter Jok committed. For those of you who don't remember, he was ranked the #1 player in his class 2 years ago, but broke his patella. He is around 90% back to normal per his doctors. He has Chris Kingsbury range for any of you who are old enough to remember him. Could be a star for us.

The Iowa Hawkeyes 2014-15 basketball team will be top 5-8, book it.
