First off I have a question. I heard Ovie was the highest in the game an only at 94. True? And if so then this game's ratings are ********. He should be a 98-99. Then Pronger as a 92 would be fine. Also it depends on how the ratings work for the rest of our team. Because personally I think Gagne is a better LW than Carter is as a Center so Gagne shouldnt only be an 85. Emery at 83? More like 78. Kimmo only 1 above Coburn? WTF!!!!! Kimmo should be an 85-87 and Coburn should be an 81-83; he had a bad season last year. I like Scottie at 82 but Briere at 86 is a joke, at least if Richie an Carter are also 86.

Heres mine should anybody actually give 2 *****:

OV, Malkin, Crosby at 98-99 just for reference
    Chris Pronger - 92
    Danny Briere - 84
    Mike Richards - 90
    Jeff Carter - 86
    Simon Gagne - 87
    Kimmo Timonen - 86
    Braydon Coburn - 81
    Scott Hartnell - 82
    Ray Emery - 78
    Matt Carle - 77
    Ryan Parent - 75
    Randy Jones - 12 lol

yeaa the ratings are really ****ed up this year. I'm not sure bout this but I heard the flyers are a 77 in the game, and the worst team in the game(avs) are a 73.
    Thanks Lgnd!

What a ****ing joke. How are we an 87 when only one player is above an 87?

EA is trying to cut down on the inflated ratings these days. In the old days you use to only have a few elite players in the 90's. Then in the last few years there was a ton of 94-99's. Now they are trying to cut down on that. I agree that Briere being the same as Richards and Carter is a joke. And Timonen should be an 87-88 IMO. If it was me it would be...

    Pronger - 91
    Richards - 90
    Timonen - 88
    Carter - 88
    Gagne - 87
    Coburn - 82
    Hartnell - 82
    Briere - 81
    Emery - 80

They didn't do nearly as bad a job as they did last year where the ratings were practically the same, except they had a ton of 90's in the game.

The team rankings are not based on the average player rating, but I'm not sure what the actual formula is. The Flyers are near the top at 87, while the Avalanche are last at 83 I believe. I wish there was more separation between teams because I think the highest is 90 and a 7 rating difference is nothing...

The updated roster for NHL10 is out......I like the fact that everyone including JVR is there and hes rated a 78 overall which is good considering they got Claude at 80 I believe. I don't know if anyone else noticed that Pyorala now rated 75 was originally in the game playing for Timra of the S.E.L. and was rated 80 which I remember kinda impressed me at the time......now that hes in the NHL both his overalls have conveniently been changed to 75, also I think they took Betts overall down few points cause I remember seeing him in the free agency pool before the update. Why was this done? If you ask me prob so the Flyers don't end up having a better overall then the Stanley Cup Champions.
