If you were starting a franchise and you could have one player who would it be?

Taking performance, age, and injury status into consideration I would have to pick Mario Williams. He could be the corner stone for your d line and defense. He constantly gets pressure on the Q.B and takes pressure off the rest of your defense.

    clearly ahouston fan

football is tough to pick a cornerstone guy.if i had to pick one it probably would be brady although he is getting a little old to be building a franchise around. i cant think of any one else who could change a game alone.

another homer pick but its better than williams.
at least you can say he is arguably the best back in the game. williams still isnt top 5 in my opinion

Thank you. Rever you know Peterson is a beast. We are a qb away from him being unstopable.

If you are starting a franchise you want to start at the QB position. But if you build the right team you might want to start with a MLB to build a great defense.

    i actually agree with you
you need a QB I think Sage could actually be that guy

by the way mario is tied for 7 in sacks last year not the guy i want to build a franchise around
maybe the top DL not the 7th
i like how these homers start threads then word it to try and point it at the guy they like.

why does it "have to be"?
hes coming off an injury, and played in a great system on a great team.
there is no knowing how effective he will be coming back, and he wasnt even the best QB before the injury.
