Just because Smoak is a switch-hitting first baseman, does not mean he'll be Teixeira.

Ike is also a few months younger than Smoak and has more power. He has no problems hitting bombs in Citi Field.

No, I don't think he was saying it's easier to hit HRs at Safeco. Citi Field and Safeco are opposites. It's easier for RHH to hit HRs at Citi and harder for LHH to and vice versa for Safeco. Ike's a LHH and hits moonshots out of Citi Field.

I did not imply that at all. It's just that Ike has shown he can hit for much more power than Smoak so far in a large ballpark as well.

Ackley looks like he can hit, and Smoak did nothing with him in the lineup.

Your right i thought Ike had turned it around should have brought up the stats.

I hope they both turn it around as well but i have more faith in Davis doing it since he had some success already Smoak did for like a month then fell off a cliff production wise.

Smoak has barely showed anything at the MLB level whereas Ike has shown some flashes here and there.

While he is very streaky, and in a massive slump right now, I gotta go Ike here.

Ike is vulnerable to lefties and has the most gawd-awful swing I can remember. Smoak...I don't know anything about, but hopefully both turn it around.
