    Ubaldo Jimenez or Max Scherzer

both are up and coming starting pitchers. And will most likely become the eventual aces of their respective teams..

which would you rather have from this point forward?

wow, finally a decent comparison in the Comaparison forum.

i am leaning toward Jiminez. he has been amazing while having to pitch at Coors and he has the Highest Average Fastball this season @ 95.6 mph....beating the likes of Verlander, Beckett, J. Johnson, Jackson, and Burnett

Ubaldo as Max's mechanics are horrible.

I'm the only one who's taken Scherzer so far. There's just something about this guy that I really like, his potential is amazing and he has really decent stuff. Not taking anything away from Ubaldo of course
    Let's go Bruins!

I don't like seeing Ubaldo, is it me or it seems like the undershirt he wears is too small? It's funny, barely covers his biceps.

I've been on the Scherzer bandwagon since the start of the season but i take Ubaldo.

    Very good comparison.

Jimenez is vastly underappreciated. My fantasy teams are benefactors.

My fantasy team too, some guy dropped him on my league after his first three or four starts of the season where he struggled hehe.

same! only concern i have is the number of pitches he seems to throw every day. It always seems that he's throwin 110+ every single start.

His arm is going to fall off.

I went with my boy Max but, this was about one of the closet comparisons I had to do.

Nice comparison. I'll take Scherzer but Ubaldo's right there.

Both these guys are very underrated.

Scherzer is a bit scary with the mechanics... but that's been a worrisome spot for many pitchers who haven't broken down.

    I'll say Jimenez.
