Would you welcome Bert back?

Bertuzzi remains unsigned.. i know the chances of us offering him a contract are extremely low, but he would be a nice depth move for the team. What you guys think of Bertuzzi, where do you think he'll sign?

No. But not because I care about what he did, or his attitude, but simply because I don't see were he fits on this team

i voted no because he's such a huge cancer. And not much need for him now that we have Samuelsson, plus he wouldn't really fit with us (as carson said).

Reason why i made this is i know there's some people who are interested in him.

Swearing, pushing, intentionally blocking the cameraman who shoots from the bench. My buddy told me that he would ask Bertuzzi all the time not to sit right at the end of the bench because it blocked his shot of the players and the coach, and Bert would sit there on purpose until one of the coaches told him to move. Childish **** like that.

A Calgary cameraman told me that when Bert came to the Saddledome as a Canuck he was assigned to wait at the arena entrance to get pictures of the team arriving. Normal stuff.

Bertuzzi walked right up and starting yelling at the guy to get his "****ing piece of **** out the way, ****sucker!", put his hand up to the camera and then walked into the rink.

A few minutes later he came back out, looking all worried. He came up to my buddy and asked if "that thing (the camera) did audio". He was worried that his string of profanities was going to be on the news. The cameraman just said not to worry about it. He never showed it to his producers because he's a good guy. Bertuzzi was lucky that didn't show up all over North America.

There's other stuff but basically Bert just has a few "temper" issues. lol.

The big issue though is that Bert is just a shadow of himself since that Avs game. He doesn't play as aggressively, the referees are calling his push-off move in front of the net, and he's aging. I don't think he'd add much that Bernier and Samuelsson don't already add.

Too bad. He used to be a good player. Wish the Moore incident had never happened. Ruined both Moore's and his own career.

Just what we need, another guy that takes stupid penalties. Bert was beautiful to watch in his prime, such great hands! I don't think Gillis wants to even take a small step backward, though, as it would likely damage the psyche of the team. The West Coast Express is fortunately just a piece of Canuck lore now. I still hope Mats will play for us for $4-5 million and finish his career in style.

Carson is right here, with the maturation of Burrows, Kesler, the Sedins returning with Demitra and Sammy, I don't think he's really in the right mind set for our roster. While I love Bertz, he'll find work elsewhere. Mason, Jannik and others are more fast paced players that take up the third line.
