One player you give up the Farm for?

Alot of trades should be happening soon since the GM Meetings are coming up. Alot of superstars around the league names have came up in rumors for whatever reason -- Grienke, Gonzalez, Fielder, J. Upton, Rasmus, Kemp, etc.

My question is which player would you give up three top prospects for? As a Braves fan, I've learned to be extra careful about these sorts of things. We sent Feliz, Andrus, Salty for a year and half of Texiera.

But you do have to look at the brightside of these things:

    - The Tigers sent top prospects for Miggy & Willis (Miggy finished 2nd in MVP voting) and neither of the prospects has done **** for the fish.

    - Prospects are only prospects. There are NO sure things; well maybe Heyward & Posey. But that is a dime a dozen.

    - If you trade for a big time player like the Red Sox did when they sent Hanley to the Fish for Bekkett and Lowell and they end up contributing big time to a WS team then isn't it worth it?

Anyways, I would only give up three top prospects for one of the names I mentioned: JUSTIN UPTON. He is signed to a long term deal and the contract is a bargain. He is only what 24? Is already a big time contributor. I'd send 3 blue chips for him in a hearbeat!!! Who would you send the farm for?

Felix Hernandez. He's worth any 3 prospects in baseball.

    and their contract?

Eva Longoria, easily, is the best player for this.

You can't give up the farm for one pitcher, injuries are too high.

The best, young position players, well there are many.

But when you add in Longoria's incredibly team friendly contract, and it would be him.

Ryan Braun wouldn't be a bad choice either when it comes down to their pay days.

As far as talent? Heyward and Posey are certainly up there.

Considering the needs of Toronto Blue Jays, there are three players I'd give up the farm for.

    1. Joe Mauer
    2. Felix Hernandez
    3. Evan Longoria
