Kobe Bryant now
Doesn't have a weakness imo. He has really perfected his game.
LeBron still has a ways to go in terms of jump shooting, posting up,etc.
Having a body like his is amazing but you need to have more when you get older.

Kobe is the better player, James has not surpassed him yet. Lebron is the 2nd best player in the league.

1a and 1b and you can't go wrong with either. This is very hard to answer because they have two different styles. LeBron is the better all around player but Kobe has that killer instinct and phenomenal shooting accuracy. LeBron not winning a ring doesn't prevent him from being the best in the game today but it prevents him from being one of the greatest of all time, which Kobe has already established himself as.
I would rather revisit this question when LeBron is a 13 year vet with diminshed athletic ability (if he has any) to really answer this because then your skill set comes into play.
