What about Lebron? What happened to his Team this year? Team leader and Team player to me means "As the Superstar of your team you lead them and elevate the players around you to another level." Bron doesn't get this concept yet. Kobe has finally grasped it. So, as the team aspect goes Kobe is the better Team leader and Team Player. You guys put Bynum and Ariza as go to players on the Lakers squad right? Lets see what happens to Ariza in Houston, Lets see how great of a player he is without Kobe. Maybe Ariza was an avg. NBA player that happened to elevate his game because he was playing with the Greatest player in the NBA today.

Same could be said about Verajo or any of the Cavs players had Cleveland Won the Ship, the Avg players are always look upon as being better. Scottie pippen was an above avg player(star, allstar) and yet Jordan elevated him to the position of demigod(kinda of stretching it but you get the point).

Until the King wins a Ship you will never ever be able to say he Elevates the players around him to be better. You look at his squad and say they suck and kobe has better players around him. Is that because Kobe makes them look better than they are? In reality Kobe had 1 other Allstar on his team Pau, Odom has starlike qualities but not allstar like. As far as I'm concerned putting a poll on here when Lakers fans out number Cavs fans like 10-1 on PSD is pointless. But with that being said Kobe is the better player simply because he's the most polished of the two. Kobe is already in his prime and LeBron isn't there yet which is kinda scary. The one aspect of LeBrons game that I can not stand is when he settles for 3s when the games are on the line. His jumper is far too inconsistent for him to even be attempting as many 3s per season. If he would just develop his mid range and sparingly take 3s then he'd be the most unstoppable player today.

Just look at what Jordan did the man shot 50% from the field and and was a monster from mid range in while only attempting 1 3pg . LeBrons at 47% and shoots about 5 3pg. And Kobes at 45% while attemping 5 3pg as well. But the one thing LeBron lacks that Jordan and Kobe both have is the ability to consistently hit daggers from inside the 3pt line with the game on the line. Lebron and Kobe both are pretty solid at defense so I don't have to argue that. But once LeBron develops his J he can arguably become the best.
