    NL Most Improved Player

since he D-backs forum is a distant host town I wanna post this here and get your feed back

Justin Upton as of right now has added .50 on his batting average. at the midway point nearly has as many hits (86) as he did the entire year last season (89) he has more rbi's (45) now than the whole last season (42) his slugging percentage is nearly .80 higher than last season.

who else is up for the ward in the NL?

    no, not J-Up.
    he's to young IMO.

tons of young guys improve pretty dramatically over a season.

do they even give a most improved player award?
i know they give out comeback player

Pierre has had some crazy numbers the past few weeks. Just have to see how Ramirez being back will dictate his playing time

Kiko Calero or Dan Meyer? Both were no ones and have come to Florida and have been very dominant with ERA's below 2.

Im not sure about Meyer but Calero has actually had pretty successful seasons in the past. But has been great this year with the Marlins.

I would have to say Jason Marquis or Juan Pierre but it will end up being Marquis cause Pierre will be back to being a bench player now even though he was playing amazing.

Jason Marquis, this guy was traded from the Cubs for Luis Vizcaino. They considered this a fair trade, so Marquis has improved a lot. Great deal!

it cant be JP b/c he is the exact same player he has always been, he is a good slap hitter, steals bases and is patient.

    jason marquis
has improved so much from last yeas. You can say the same about Jonathan Broxton, he was good last year, shakey, a little unrelieable but this year has been lights out. 20/22 saves pretty good for a 1st year Closer.
