I really, really, really, really hope you are not serious.
haha this thread should be closed..
MJ and Pippen. And I'm a Laker fan.
How do you even know if Kobe and Artest would function well? We know MJ and Pippen would.
This is like saying the new combo of Vince and Dwight is equal to Kobe and Shaq or that the duo of Tony Parker and Tim Duncan is equal to Magic and Kareem.

You can't even judge this because Kobe and Ron have never played together while MJ and Pippen have played together the highlight of their careers.
Irony- a literary or rhetorical device, in which there is an incongruity or discordance between what one says or does and what one means or what is generally understood. Irony is a mode of expression that calls attention to the character's knowledge and that of the audience.
There is some argument about what qualifies as ironic, but all senses of irony revolve around the perceived notion of an incongruity between what is expressed and what is intended, or between an understanding or expectation of a reality and what actually happens, "when the literal truth is in direct discordance to the perceived truth.
Jordan and Pippen were ranked the best Duo in sports history.
Kobe and Artest aren't even the best in the league.
Pippen was the best basketball player not named Michael Jordan when Michael Jordan was his teammate. Pippen proved that by leading the league in scoring the year after Jordan retired. Artest couldn't hold Pippen's jock strap. And Kobe may be Kobe, but Wade led the league in scoring last season. Jordan led the league in scoring how many times? How many titles? With Bill Cartwright at center.
Jordan also has this little stat to his credit:
That's 60 consecutive playoff games with 20 or more points. Kobe, not so much. Most consecutive games, 20 or more points
60 - Michael Jordan, Chicago, June 2, 1989 - May 11, 1993
