    Danny Heatley Traded To Edmonton

    It was just annouced, Heatley waived his NTC to be moved to Edmonton for Andrew Cogliano, Dustin Penner and Ladislav Smid.

    Sorry Ottawa, you could have had alot better deal than this.

    Dany Heatley did not waive his no-movement clause to facilitate an agreed-upon trade between the Ottawa Senators and Edmonton Oilers that would have sent Andrew Cogliano, Dustin Penner and Ladislav Smid to Ottawa.

    The guy is a total douche bag.

    He is quickly burning his bridges all over the NHL.

    When the current CBA is up the league needs to put in provisions to protect teams from idiots like this. Something where if a player has a no trade / no movement clause in their contract and asks to be traded / moved during the term of that contract they forfeit those rights.

    As a Pens fan, I feel bad for the Sens having to deal with this immature player. His name has already been tarnished from his actions in regards to the death of his teamate Dan Snyder. He should be in jail but Snyder's parents dropped charges, he is a scum bag and this is just a reminder
