Leino traded to the Flyers for O.K. Tollefsen and 5th rounder in 2011.

    What are your thoughts?

Guess I'm okay with it because Leino could never really find his groove this season. Don't know much about this Tollefsen guy but it appears like he is injury prone which is something we do not need more of on this team.

I'm a little bummed. Leino never really got his legs under him. I would not be surprised to see him turn into a solid player.

Tollefsen is not a bad depth player to get back though.

I think Tollefsen will help more than hurt our team. he definitely brings some grit.

When we signed Leino in the wake of losing Bruunstrom I was a huge fan. I loved the way he played and rooted for him every time he suited up. That being said, he was not producing in a year we need production.

Its nice we got a defensemen - though he is going straight to GR and a pick. Hopefully nobody will claim this defensemen and eventually we'll call him up if he is the guy everyone says he is.

We can turn nothing into something down the road. With drafting, in Holland I Trust.

Talk is that in order to bring Lilja back we need to clear 1.2m. Rumor from mLive is they are considering two options; Trade Williams or cut 2 of the 3 - Meech/Lebda/May, though that may not clear enough space.

With the positive things J-Will is bringing, anyone else think its a bad idea sending him off for just about nothing?

Yeah I dont know. I'm not sure how I feel about Lilja coming back this year. Sure, he kills penalties, but he is awful with the puck and can't skate. How could he play well after a year. I'd rather stick with Meech/Lebda.

didn't I read somewhere about having cap flexibility with him because he came off LTIR and you can get some extension to see if he is ready?

Get rid of J-Willy. I've never liked him and he completely blew a chance last game that could have won us the game.

Lebda...well everyone knows how I feel about lebda.

Still, I'm not sure about Lilja just yet. I wonder how he is doing in GR? He would bring a big body in our 5/6 pairing, He blocks shots and hits people...hopefully he can continue doing that and be a huge upgrade over my man lebda.

Saw a rumour about the Wings contacting Atlanta about Slava. I'd like to see him back.

Slavs would be a solid addition . My question is: why can't we just dump Lilja?

Kozlov has a $3.6m Cap hit... what would we have to get up?

Can't just cut Lilja, we need to see what we have post injury. He will give more than May but more than Lebda/Meech... we'll see...
