Zach Parise - I want him, depending on the price. We can't afford another long-term contract. I'd probably throw him with Z. I think they'd mesh well together. I do think that he's infact the perfect fit in Minnesota though.

Shane Doan - Yes, yes, yes! One of the best PF's in the NHL, and puts up solid stats in a defensive system. We lack powerforwards in our top six. You can argue that Dats is really our only.

David Jones - Not bad. Could be overpaid, and played out of our top six.

    Paul Gaustad - No thanks.

Cody McLeod - Nah. Eaves, Abby, Miller, >

Jim Slater - One of my favourite non-Wings, but I'd prefer to have guys like Nyquist and Eaves.

    Brandon Prust - Pass.

Alexander Semin - I don't know. He's got the talent, but is inconsistent. If we could get him semi cheap, than I'd be willing to accept the fact that we have Franzen 2.0.

    Franzen - Z - Semin

Combined 40 points in 10 games.
Combined 2 points in 5 games.

    Ryan Suter - Please.
Matt Carle - Depends on Lidstrom, but even then, it's not a have to. Smith could play full-time next year.

Calle Jarnkrok finished his year with 39 points in 50 games.

Riley Sheahan finished his year with 25 points in 37 games. Currently playing in Grand Rapids.

Petr Mrazek finished his year a .917 save percentage, 2.84 GAA, and 30 wins. He's currently in the OHL playoffs.
Great group of prospects to look forward to.
    Sheahan with the Griffins 6gp 1G 1A 2P -2
Petr Mrazek should be a Griffin next year, he's going to be a nice sleeper pick.

Wings sign Riley Sheahan to three-year deal. Sheahan likely will spend a couple of seasons developing in Grand Rapids. Unless he surprises Babs during training camp.

Ashamedly, no. I live in GR but I just can't fit two teams into my brain at this point. I should, and probably will after this season. Too much talent coming in soon to not pay attention.

He's a big guy, that's not afraid to drive the net, Babs kinda guy. To top it off, he's responsible in his own end thanks to Notre Dame playing style, D first.

No I wish, living on the East coast, but I do keep track on all the prospects as much as possible. I go to this awesome site that does a real nice job keeping up with the future wings. Down below is the link if no one knows about it.

Too bad Babs doesn't really have a single powerforward except Pav. I do consider Pavel Datsyuk to be a PF at times. Franzen, and Bertuzzi are kind of soft (quite a bit for Todd).

I've considered going to a Grand Rapids game, but it's like an extra hour for me. Not worth it, when I can save an hour by going to the Wings game.

I've been through that site a bit in the past.

I have family who own a restaurant in downtown GR, like a 5 minute walk away from the Griffins home ice. I've walked up to the Stadium to see it but never actually saw a game or checked it out.
