No killing-just Dirk's fiancee. She did state in an interview that he has not met with her and told her the engagement is over, so she is hopeful that the wedding is still on. So I guess she's still his fiancee.

You are correct. Love that movie.The remake was horrible,btw. Hmm...going to have to work on the one you posted. It will be something really obvious, I bet.

And as for the Dirk/fiancee kerfuffle, it appears he may have some good reasons not to contact her or bail her out. But they can resume the relationship once they get married.
