    Pretty close comparison actually.

I actually think the 2008 Celtics were better.

Games 4 and 6 were just absolutely horrendous to watch as a Laker fan.
it just felt like the Celtics were a far, FAR better team.

I would give the edge to Boston. I think their frontcourt would have pushed the Lakers' frontcourt around once again.

Props to Mane for the sig.

Bynum would have helped a ton just being an extra guy to absorb fouls and make Perkins word a little harder than usual.

Most important change, VLADRAD ON PIERCE VS. ARIZA ON PIERCE

    HUGE DIFFERENCE.
    No acting here!

2009 Lakers. The addition of Ariza and Bynum were huge. Games 1-5 were very close and I definitely believe that those two plus the addition by subtraction of Vladimir opens up the window for a Lakers victory.

Very close imo. As a Lakers fan, seeing Boston crush us in the 2008 Finals was impressive on their part. It would be a 7 games series for sure.

Depends on if Gasol can get what he got this year in the finals.

    The 2008 Celtics.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 49-62, games this week vs. Cardinals (3), Angels (3)
Indianapolis Colts: Good draft and off-season so far.
Looking for new NBA team to cheer for
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, free agency begins this week.
