They closed their Dominican camp a while ago, shared one with Baltimore this year and are opening their own next year.

I'm not sold on Cain at 8, I think Eric Farris should be higher than 18 he had like 70 sb. Also the rookies haven't played enough to rank them. But Baseball America know alot more than I do.

I think Farris is too high. Yeah he has great speed and he's a good defender, but that's it. His bat really doesn't play anywhere and he's not exactly young for his league.

Would like to see him get to the big leagues to protect him from any more testing. He has a big league arm, and it would be nice if we as Brewer fans get to see him.

Escobar JUST retained prospect status because he ended with 125 AB's in 2009 (130 needed to exhaust Rookie eligibility)

I believe he only needs to be put on the 40 man to be exempt from recreational drug tests. I believe he'll need to be put on the 40 man anyways next off season to be protected from the rule 5 draft so it wouldn't be a burden to add him to the 40 man when he finishes his suspension during next season.

I think their is a pretty good chance Axford makes the club out of spring and I bet Braddock is a Brewer at some point during 2010. With Weathers and likely McClung and Vargas gone they'll need to replenish the bullpen with some cheap arms like Axford and Smith.

Where is RJ Seidel lol just kidding, i faced him iím in high school, we were in the same conference. He was a senior when i was a sophomore. The kid throws gas. Iím just proud of my self because I didnít strike out; i faced him once and flew out to center field.

Nice to see a guy like Mark Rogers resurfacing, now if only Mike Jones could battle back too.

Good news on protecting with the 40 man not on the 25 man roster. They need to get him protected, and get a full season under his belt to see if he really can master control of another pitch and project into our 2011 plans. If not I think he could be included in a deal to try to get this team over the hump at the allstar break.

I realized after I sent that that he cant get a full season in and still be trade bait come July. I guess I am just ready to see a secondary pitch of his with some success or I will start to think he is just a hard throwing reliever to be.
