I'm quite surprised by Reid Nichols statements about Logan Schafer in the JS blog. He says that Schafer could begin the season at AAA and that he is so advanced defensively, that he could be in the majors by mid season. That obviously will depend on how Gomez/Dickerson pan out. If they are simply looking for a defensive CF I think the Gomez/Dickerson combo would suffice.

I don't know exactly where to ask this, so this forum will do I think.

What do you guys know about Zelous Wheeler? Honestly, I saw his name in the lineup today, and saw he had a pretty decent day. He made a nice diving stop at third as well. I really haven't heard much about him and he's not on that list of our top 20 prospects, so I was wondering what everyone knows about the guy. Is he just here to fill out the roster, or is he a guy who's on our radar to possibly be a impact player in the future?

He has a cool name and that's about it. He might make it as utility infielder because im pretty sure he can also play short stop. He's unlikely to be a regular in the MLB

He can get on base and has a little pop. I think he can be a utility guy.

Do you guys think there is a pretty good possibility we deal fielder at the deadline for spects? Ik we are going to try and win the division, but our minors is pretty terrible from reading on a couple sites (still rusty on my minor league knowledge).

Doubtful. They'd have to get a better haul than the CC Sabathia trade to make it worthwhile. The 2 draft picks are the better way to go because then you can get guys that you want to fit in your system.

The Brewers released hard-throwing lefty Evan Frederickson, the 35th overall pick in 2008. Frederickson has been excessively wild in his minors career, never walking fewer than 7.6 batters per nine, according to Eddy.

T-Rats looked really good. Very solid hitting bunch. The center fielder and right fielder had some issues judging the ball otherwise it was pretty textbook defense and the starting pitcher did well. I have no clue who any of these guys are but I should soon. I'm impressed.
