Agreed, Mickey is awesome. For as long as I can remember he has been the color commentator, and I can't imagine watching a wings game without him. His catch phrases are awesome, and even though he's kinda homerish to the point where it gets a little annoying lol, he still has great input, and doesn't mind calling out the league when a shotty penalty is called or what have you.

Agreed, there are some terrible announcers out there. I hate guins announcers the most. Mickeys homerism is tolerable cuz we all know how much he loves the red wings, it's hard to be unbiased towarda the team you love.

Its labeled as folk punk. One of my favorite bands of all time.

If you havent, check out their album entitled "Reinventing Axl Rose"

truely a work of art IMO. Every person I have showed them to has loved them. Sooo, give them a listen!

If you just want a song to listen to... check out Pints of Guiness make you strong...beautiful song, there was a point in time where i would leave this song on repeat for hours. And its on of my favorite songs to play on guitar...it makes for a good campfire song too lol. nothings better than sitting around with a bunch of people and have all of them singing that song at the top of their lungs.

No kidding. Bruins games are unwatchable when you get the Boston feed. We have them to thank for referring to the boards as "Walls" . Amazingly, every NHL play by play man has moronically followed suit
