I don't know if any of you have ever seen the following site, but you can on there and see some of Tootoo's fights. I don't guess it was too awkward between Tootoo and Bert, since there wasn't much to their fight. Tootoo needs to find some smaller guys to fight.

Check out some of the Wings goalies' masks. They have come a long way from Sawchuk's days of actually using a mask. Rutherford's looks stupid. It looks like he has Wing eyebrows. I think that is a fan standing in the background of Giacomin's and it makes him look like he has fuzzy ears. It looks sort of like a cross between a lamb and a pig head to me.

That is nuts. The one hit reminded me of the McSorley hit on Brashear.

I was just thinking of what a team would have to give up to get Ovie and what team could realistically do it, convince Ovie and the Caps to do it.

The only team I can think of that needs an Ovi is the Caps!. Seriously though, it would never happen but CBJ desperatly needs a star to fill Nash's skates. Ovi would prolly laugh at the thought.

I thought this was an interesting comment about Zeterberg:

In an interview earlier in the week, hall of famer Wayne Gretzky praised the 32-year-old Zetterberg for his skill and toughness, and said the Wings’ center has been his favorite player to watch over the past 10 seasons.
“I think Zetterberg is the best player in the game (at his age),” Gretzky told NHL.com. “He’s been so physically beat up from the Stanley Cup playoffs, Olympics – all that goes with that – but he’s just very special.”
Gretzky, the NHL’s all-time leading scorer, then took his admiration for Zetterberg to another level by saying, “I think he’s the best Swedish player they’ve ever put into the National Hockey League, and there has been a lot of great ones, from (Borje) Salming to (Nicklas) Lidstrom.”

Wow talk about high praise. I wouldn't say he's better than Lidstrom, but Gretzky is a little more qualified than me lol

Gretzky has always loved Zetterberg. I remember 4 years ago or so when he was the Coyotes coach he called Z the most underrated player in the game. He was underrated quite a bit then though

Here is a complete list of SIs 10 most hated NHL players in case some of you didn't see it. Yep, our boy Tootoo is on it.

Z is currently 3rd in the points race. Fingers crossed he stays healthy and get a crack at the Art Ross. He's showing more grit and determination this year than I've seen from him in awhile. Great start to his first year with the "C".
