Seahawks Tackle Walter Jones Out Indefinetly

Seahawks LT Walter Jones underwent another knee surgery on Wednesday and is out indefinitely.

As good as Aaron Curry might be, GM Tim Ruskell took a massive, and arguably irresponsible risk by passing on Eugene Monroe at No. 4 overall in the draft. He's going to pay for it now. Jones, who's hardly practiced in camp and is also having back problems, almost certainly won't be ready to start the season. That means RT Sean Locklear will kick to the blind side, where he's a downgrade in pass protection. Stay away from Matt Hasselbeck.

Big loss. Jones is one of the best in the game.

Here we go Seahawks fans, it has begun.

With Jones out, speed rushers will be coming at Hasselbeck much faster. Could be another injury waiting to happen.

I agree that Monroe could've been the more logical pick for the Seahawks, they were fine at LB before the draft.
    Time for some hootenanny.

We all expected big things from them last season. Not good news at all for them.

Good luck to them. It is a shame Walt is a great LT still if he is healthy.
Think long and hard about why you respond to nonsense. Please!

Jim Mora is confident he will be back for the season, but anytime without Walt is a big downgrade, not only to the O-Line but the whole offense. Hopefully our young guys like Rob Sims and Ray Willis can step up.

No one stepped up for them last season when Jones went down... They've got 2 good RT's in Locklear and Willis but neither are truly LT's and unfortunately(or fortunately) Carlson is their second best target so he can't stay in and help.

Shouldn't rely on anyone over 35 in football besides the long snapper, you're a moron if you do.
