Shea Weber is garnering support as the best defenseman in the NHL this season.
Weber is having a great season and is right at the top of list for the best defenseman at the All-Star break along with perennial winner Nicklas Lidstrom. Weber has 14 goals and 32 points in 45 games and is a solid defender. If he keeps it up, he will merit a lot of consideration for the Norris Trophy as the NHL's top defenseman at the end of the season.

I agree with this assessment...Weber is a beast with a LASER BEAM for a shot...he even gave Chara a run for his money in the hardest shot competition...
