The Inauguration of Barack Obama

To share some of my thoughts:

Obama definitely looked tired/a bit stressed, which could explain the subpar (for him) speech.

Aretha Franklin should be sent to Gitmo for that awful rendition of the National Anthem and her ridiculous hat.

Finally, and most importantly, God Bless you Obama.

That is the worst possible thing that can be said to a male. Can you give me a heads up on when i'm getting served? Also as a proud Raiders fan, I hope my child isn't so screwed up to root for the broncos.

Also on a serious note, I saw in the general discussion, that people were voting you best female, but they say dbroncos. Are they meaning you?

well yes, but the point is it doesn't say. So technically Bush could just say yea not happening yet. They couldn't get to the supreme court fast enough to stop him, if he did it at 10 am or so.

Broncos > Raiders, mom always told me that.

That is a joke thread, someone put up a poll between CG and Redbird i believe and then Bullsfan said my name so i added myself and H-MYK. And well people just love me.

Wow, really didn't know there was that many females. But I guess I really don't pay attention.

Upon further review, maybe i'm wrong, but you seem a bit of a liberal, and that leads me to say, how the hell do the conservatives not get a women to post here. Me and Gcoll and Blender swaying in the weeds over here. That's it i'm calling Palin.

I would have to agree with you except she did not sing the national anthem

He speach while not his best at first blush, may hold up well, i have read it and reread it several times, and it has several parts that are really strong.

As far as your last statement, you are a good man to say that.

I think it would be a blast going to a convention - either party's convention, although I must admit that last year the Dems looked like they were having the better time of it. Just the chance to meet up face to face with some random politicians and news figures would be fun, I think, and really it's just a big party, for the most part.

That might be the problem, she didn't sing the National Anthem.

Seriously though, I thought his speech was very, very good.
