I'm glad this thread is catching on

I just read 'The Book of Lies' by Brad Meltzer 7/10

Pretty interesting for most of the book (had some neat stuff about the origins the superman comic merged with ficition) but the ending wasn't very good

It was one of the most difficult reads I have ever read. There were some deep and out of this world vocabulary. If it wasn't for two chapters that seemed to just kill any flow the book had I would have liked it a bunch more.
But I still give it a 6/10. Not too shabby.

Got Johnny Damon's autobiography; Idiot. Also got the Bourne series. Not expecting them to be like the movies.

I've just started the Bourne Identity and I've read that the movies are substantially different from the books

YES I'm reviving a thread from 4 years ago.

Wondering if anyone here reads anymore....I mean besides Hunger Games, Harry Potter, etc.

When You Are Engulfed In Flames - David Sedaris 8/10 Funny as always.

    Hunger Games Trilogy
    Book 1 - 7/10
Book 2 - 6/10 Too conveniently set up.
    Book 3 - 6/10

Solid series overall. A little too cliche in some parts, but love the characters and concept.

The Dark Tower Series - 8.2/10 Loved this series all the way up to the end. Just left me feeling so empty and this is why it only get that rating.

A Clash of Kings - 8.9/10 I am loving the series so far, will read the 3rd book soon.

The Hunger Games - 7.0/10 A solid read, did not love it as others did.

The Giver - 7.2/10 Is a book I always wanted to read, simple quick read.

A Dance with Dragons: 10/10 Just so depressed it will be years before I get to continue the story with so many things going on, but the show will tie me over I suppose.
