    Thanks for posting this.

What a crap list- Escobar at 8, Austin "I have no real plus tools" Jackson at 27, and how the hell is Derek Holland 46th?

Brett Wallace is 42nd, Buster Posey is 19th- but no Pedro Alvarez? Unbelievable.

Did you expect more from MLB.com?

I expected something more reasonable than this. It feels like for the most part they just picked names out of a hat.

I was hoping JP Arencibia would crack the top 50. He's definitely a top catching prospect but I guess he isn't top 50 yet though. Top 100 for sure.

Good to see Snider at 7.

As far as I know, his suspension ended around May 13th or so.

Who does the Cubs expect to make a deal for Peavy without including even having a to 60 prospect without including a guy on their MLB roster???

    I kid, I kid....

It just shows how bad this list when they exclude Vitters and MILB.com Minor League Pitcher of the Year in Jhoulys Chacin of the Colorado Rockies.

If the Braves didn't trade for Teixeira, we would have 10% of the top 50

That'll happen the next time he's caught.

He was #59. I agree, he should have been in there.

Not necessarily. I have Wieters going #1 on my list, and I know a few others that are doing the same.

Im confused how some guys can do nothing and just like retain their spots like Scott Elbert who made 1 start in the minors last year and Adam Miller who only made 6 APPEARANCES last season and Jeremy Jeffries and James McDonald being on there but Tim Alderson who had a fantastic year and Brett Cecil who pitched great at high A, AA, AND AAA last season dont get on the list.

I dont understand how McCutcheon and Rasmus arent farther down than Escobar and Feliz. And I dont understand how Heyward is number 3 ahead of everyone from 4-14...

its not a very good list IMO...I want to see BA's whenever it comes out...
