After watching the past 10 games from the bench, goalie Jason LaBarbera returned to action against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night at the Saddledome.

Eric Ersberg made his 10th consecutive start for the Kings, but gave way to LaBarbera at 10:07 of the second after giving up four goals on 18 shots during the 6-2 loss.

Prior to Tuesday’s game, LaBarbera last saw action during a 20-save performance in a 3-2 loss to the Flames at home on Nov. 1.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound goalie made 15 saves in a relief appearance in Calgary. LaBarbers is expected to get the start Wednesday night in Edmonton when the Kings head north to face the Oilers.
