Its not actually hanging there, it just feels like its hanging there because I can't bend it but I can bend it with the other hand and it doesn't hurt.

Snap that ****er back in place, tape it up, ice it down, and go on about your day.

Putting some booze and/or pills in ya wouldn't be frowned upon.

I've dislocated/broken many fingers. I wouldn't try to pop it back in. Tape it up and ice it. If it continues to feel "floppy", see a doctor or pop it back in if you absolutely have to

Of course it hurts. Did you think it would feel like puppies and gumdrops?

As your doctor, I recommend you take 3 Vikes and 3 shots of whiskey.

I don't want to die, but I will do the whiskey without the vikes.

    Fun fact:

If you are trying to overdose on Tylenol (acetaminophen), then drinking alcohol along with it will actually save your life.

Obviously, I don't recommend you testing out this theory.

wow...i am at a complete lost for words. you, sir, are a gangsta

but yeea...something like that happen to me this morning. my finger wasn't "floppy" but i woke up with it feeling weird. i could move it but whenever i do, it'll stop a a certain point...pop..than finish the movement. was like "wtf?!?! did i roll over on top of my finger while i was asleep or something?" i felt it but nothing feel out of place so i just kept moving my finger up and down until it doesn't pop anymore. weird. never felt any pain either. still feels kinda weird right now but ehh...as long as it doesn't look deformed, there's no pain, and it's moving around with no problem than i'm cool don't have health insurance so going to the doctors would be too pricey (i miss my company's deadline to sign up for health insurance...kinda my fault).

    Funner Fact:

If you want to overdose, there's far more enjoyable methods than Tylenol.

But at least tylenol would be considered a legal substance to die on.
    Government could live with that!

True, but not everyone has those options available to them.

And not only that, but some of those options actually include Tylenol in them.

I'm having surgery for a hernia in January. Any tips, advice, things to do before and after surgery?

I'm sure your doctor will give you the rundown about pre and post-op but I would just try to keep to light duty as though to not make it any worse.

Afterward, you'll probably have to be on light duty for a certain amount of time as well.
    I'm In.
