I've seen them twice, once against my guys. For all the hoopla about of youth, the fact is they stink. They're slow and chippy. They'll jump to a cheap shot, but hide when real payback comes. This is the worst team in the NHL.

The worst team, I dont think so, but not nearly as good as everyone was hailing them to be after two games.

Fact is they are extremely young, especially at the forward position, and its ridiculous to expect 19 and 20 year olds to carry your team. The defense, with the exception of Derrick Morris and Michalek has been pathetic (and that includes JoVo). Bryz isnt nearly as bad as his numbers point out, but he cant do much without any help.

This team is going to be special, just not this season. In a couple years when guys like Turris, Mueller and Boedeker are fully developed watch out. Till then they are average at best.

If they are crap, as you claim, they are one of the worst teams in the league which is not the case at all. They are a 500 team, possibly a little above or a little below, but nothing to push them towards the top or bottom of the league.

Lets get this clear, they have one of the best 1st lines in hockey with Joikenen, Mueller and Doan. They have future top 6 forwards in Mikeal Boedeker, Martin Hazel, and Kyle Turris. They have one of the best instigators in the league in Danny Carcello. They have one excellent young defenseman in Michalek, a great young offensive defensman in Keith Yandle, and two good veterans on the blue lines in Morris and Jovo (although he is struggling this year). They are by far the youngest team in hockey yet have easily the best young talent of any other hockey club and are capable of beating any team in the league.

So are they the best, of course not. Are they the worst, also of course not. They are exactly what I said they were... average at best. You want to compare them to Carolina thats just fine, if you put the Hurricanes in the West they would barely make the playoffs. Oh and one last thing on the Coyotes, they also have the second most salary cap space in the league, so after the season they can go get a Jay Boumester and push themselves into that next teir team.
